2019 was a great year for the San Diego Startup Map!
The goal of the San Diego Startup Map (www.sandiegostartupmap.com) has been to make startups in San Diego more visible, but first we needed to find the startups so that we could invite them.
At the end of 2018 we were tracking 382 startups, with 31% (119) that had added themselves onto the map.
At the end of 2019 we were tracking 613 startups, with 31% (193) that had added themselves onto the map. That was a 60% increase in startups we’re tracking!
We know there are even more startups that we don’t know about, especially startups focused on life sciences, so one of our goals for 2020 is to find more great San Diego startups and having them add themselves to the Startup Map.
